Quality Start Los Angeles

Quality Start Los Angeles is a Quality Rating and Improvement System for early learning providers in Los Angeles County. It has successfully completed its first program year, having enhanced more than 800 early learning providers across the county to date.

QSLA works directly at the site level, providing hands-on support in the form of coaching, professional development, and family engagement. QSLA also provides direct support to parents and works to inform key stakeholders about the benefits of investing in quality programs for children ages zero to five.

QSLA is funded by both state and local dollars serving state and non-state funded Infant/Toddler and Preschool programs and family child care centers. To learn more about QSLA or to find a provider that is participating in QSLA, visit the Quality Start Los Angeles website.
