Jessie Salazar

DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

For over 20 years, Jessie Salazar has been a mainstay at Pathways L.A.. Most recently serving as Director of Programs, Jessie spearheaded improvements to Pathways L.A.’s operational functions and technological infrastructure. A leader in state and regional child care and early education, Jessie sits on a number of boards and task forces, including First 5 LA’s Best Start Metro LA, the Membership and Community Resource Task Force, DCFS/SPA 4 collaboration work group, Magnolia Place Leadership Group, Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles Development Body, and California Child Development Administration Association.

Jessie is a 2011 graduate of the Nonprofit Leadership Development Program with the Center for Nonprofit Management and completed the Executive Management Development Program for Entrepreneurs from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, and the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies’ Executive Management Leadership Institute. Jessie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University.
