Module 3: Identifying Childhood Trauma
Wednesday, September 11, 2019 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Description: This training builds on the concept of trauma-informed care as it helps providers identify trauma behaviors in young children. Providers learn about explicit and implicit memory as well as normal stress responses in children. Specific examples of dysregulated behaviors are provided and strategies to create a safe environment for children are discussed.
This training is being offered in English on two dates: September 11 and September 14.
RSVP: Reserve your spot using the Care Registry. Space is limited. If you’ve already registered, but won’t be able to attend, please cancel your registration to allow another provider to attend.
