Sally Valenzuela has been with Pathways L.A. since 1998 and has more than twenty years of experience in child development and early care and education. She works closely with our Deputy Executive Director to develop, manage and administer all aspects of Pathways L.A.’s programs. A veteran of the organization, Sally began her service as a case manager in 1998 and now, as Director of Programs, oversees critical aspects of Pathways L.A. such as the creation and implementation of program policy and procedures, acting as community liaison to promote and maintain partnerships, and much more. Sally holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Family Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and is a 2011 graduate of the Nonprofit Leadership Development Program with the Center for Nonprofit Management. In addition, Sally holds certifications from the Executive Management Development Program for Entrepreneurs from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies’ Executive Management Leadership Institute. She volunteers her time as a co-leader of a Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles troop promoting female youth leadership with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM).
