For many years, our dedicated community network has been working to support families and help parents create a better future for their children. Pathways LA is working to make sure that children in our most vulnerable communities have access to high-quality and affordable childcare services.
We do this by talking to neighborhood groups, childcare providers, families, and community members to understand what children need during their early years of brain development.
Then, we talk to government officials at the city, county, state, and federal levels to advocate for more resources and support for early childhood education.
Our current policy priorities include:
- Investment in Childcare
- Investment in Childcare Infrastructure
- Investment in Family Engagement
- Equitable Investment in the Childcare Labor Force
- Increase in Funding for more Subsidized Childcare Slots
- Increase in Access and Services for all Under-Resourced Families
