COVID-19 impact on Pathways LA hours, events and trainings. LEARN MORE

First launched in 2021, Stories That Represent Us is a series of story time events for children and families. Led by leaders in our community, this innovative program utilizes the power of stories to help inspire and strengthen children's opinions and values.

Our Impact

  • This past year, Pathways LA has welcomed five elected officials to host our Stories that Represent Us events including:

    • Senator Maria Elena Durazo, Senate District 24
    • Assemblymember Miguel Santiago, Assembly District 53
    • Assemblywoman Wendy Carrillo, Assembly District 51
    • Councilmember Nithya Raman, Los Angeles City Council District 4
    • Senator Sydney Kamlager, Senate District 30

In all we have had a total of 353 attendees.

Stories That Represent Us occurs bi-monthly.  We encourage all of our Pathways LA’s parents and children to join the fun! For more information reach out to Giovanni Zuniga at

My experience here has been very rewarding and joyful over the past three years. I’ve seen my child improve so much in her learning and I know it’s because of the staff here at Pathways LA’s West Hollywood Preschool. I have to say that the teachers did an AMAZING job with my child. My child adores her teachers and her friends and talks of nothing else when at home.
